The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga once touted marriage advice like treating your husband ‘like a king’ and being a traditional cooking and cleaning mom in 2013, but things have ‘crazily changed.’

‘I’ll probably go back and read [Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage] and go, “Yeah, no,”‘ the 39-year-old reality star told ET on Friday.

‘And that’s a true fact. It’s one of the things that, I’m being very honest, I struggle a lot with [my husband Joe] over that.’  

Now that she’s a busy working girl, the Envy boutique owner has been ‘arguing a lot’ with the 39-year-old construction worker (born Giuseppe), whom she wed in 2004.

‘We’re fighting really hard right now,’ Melissa admitted.

‘We’re having these conversations about “man vs. woman.” Like, “I’m going to work, too. I need you to respect my work, even though I’m gonna be in glam for two hours. It’s also part of my work.” 

‘For him, it’s a struggle to understand. He’s like, “Your work is fun,” and I’m like, “I’m working.” … So we go back and forth on that and just the roles in the house.’

Gorga (born Marco) stressed that she and Joe ‘truly do love one another’ and they’re going to ‘fight for [our] love’ and their daughter Antonia, 13; and sons Gino, 11; and Joey, 8.

‘I’ve been on the show for eight years,’ the Lip Sync Battle champ noted.

‘I was [always] like, “We’re good, we got this. I don’t know what everybody else’s problem is, all these Housewives are getting divorces.” And then I’m like, “Oh, I get this. OK, we’re hitting a moment.”‘
