A Pensacola man says he was attacked, beaten up and robbed after using a dating app.
The victim did not* want to be identified, but he says he met Rebecca Cooley on the dating app ‘tagged.’
The police report says the two met for drinks at her apartment.
The report says about 30 minutes later, three men attacked him, held him at gunpoint, and stole his phone and wallet.
Cooley and her boyfriend, Ellery Laster, now face robbery charges.
Laster has also been charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief.
Authorities are still looking for two other people who may be involved.

After this robbery, Pensacola PD is now offering advice to anyone using dating apps
Officer Mike Wood says first, always meet in a public place and stay there throughout the date.
Second, let someone know when and where you’re going.
Finally, listen to your gut.
