Rani Mukerji's advice to Salman Khan on Dus Ka Dum finale: Forget marriage, have kids now. Watch

Looks like Dus Ka Dum season 3 finale will be a spectacular one. Scheduled to be aired in the first week of September, the reality game show will see actors Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji who will join their ‘good friend’ Salman Khan to make it memorable. A video from the shoot of the episode is now online, which shows the trio having a gala time on the sets.

Shah Rukh and Salman, who fell out a few years ago have since become good friends and often support each other in their respective ventures. If Shah Rukh is making a special appearance in Dus Ka Dum, then Salman too has done the same appearing in a SRK’s Zero.

Shah Rukh Khan reacts through the course of the shoot.

Getting back to Dus Ka Dum, the video clip from finale is hilarious as it gets. At one point Shah Rukh, the king of romance on Indian screen, gives Salman a tip on dealing with women. There is a point where Shah Rukh tells Salman: “Dil se aana chahiye, pant se thoda na aana chahiye.” Together, they do the Dinka Chika ‘pant pocket’ step from Salman starrer Ready and lungi dance from Shah Rukh starrer Chennai Express.

Sunil Grover as Amitabh Bachchan as Kaun Banega Crorepati host.

At another point, Rani is ecstatic that two of her favourite co-stars, Salman and SRK, are together. So much so that she enacts a scenic from Karan Arjun, where actor Rakhi, hugging on to Salman and SRK, says: “Mere Karan Arjun aayenge.” What’s more, in the course of the clip, Salman does a perfect act of putting nappies on baby dolls. Seeing it, Rani can barely believe her eyes and in happiness, she declares, “OMG! Salman shaadi-waadi chhodo, bachche paeda kar lo.”

However, more entertainment awaits fans as comedian Sunil Grover, makes an entry, first as duplicate Amitabh Bachchan in his now-famous Kaun Banega Crorepati avatar and then as Rinku bhabhi from Kapil Sharma show.

Hong Kong woman claims she was tricked into sham marriage while training to become wedding planner

A Hong Kong woman has claimed she was duped into marrying a stranger during a job offer scam in mainland China.

The 21-year-old who has not been named said she had been asked to participate in a mock marriage ceremony as part of a training course to become a wedding planner.

However, during the ceremony, in Fuzhou, Fujian, she and the man, who was a similar age, signed a genuine marriage document and were officially married.

The alleged scammers had told the woman that there would be no problem because they knew the mayor, reported the South China Morning Post.

“They said they would void [the marriage record] afterwards,” she said. She only realised that she was actually married when she returned to Hong Kong and sought legal help, but the police were unable to step in due to lack of evidence. Instead the woman turned to the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (FTU).

Tong Kang-yiu, director of the FTU’s rights and benefits committee, told the SCMP that the woman may be just one of many victims of a larger racket.

“We hope that by sharing this case, those who haven’t realised they were scammed will be aware,” Tong said. “The police failed to handle the case instantly. We need to give the police more pressure to take this problem seriously,” he said.

“We handed the case to the police for investigation. We are still waiting for advice from lawyers for further action.”

The motives behind the case are not yet known. However, mainland residents with a spouse in Hong Kong can apply for a one-way permit to settle in the city.

The young woman told reporters that she had wanted to work in the beauty industry and had first been lured by an advert for a make-up artist job on Facebook which offered free training and did not require previous work experience.

When she applied for the job she was told that she could earn more money as a wedding planner but that she would be required to play the role of a bride and sign a marriage certificate as part of the qualification procedure.

A friend later convinced her that she had become a victim of a scam and she sought help.  There was no money involved. “My biggest loss was having a marriage record,” she said.

Boyfriend insists upon sex before marriage

Carolyn Hax Published 12:00 a.m. ET Aug. 29, 2018

Carolyn is away. The following first appeared on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, 2004.

Carolyn: I have a dilemma. My boyfriend and I have been together for 11 months. We love each other and want to get married. The problem is, he wants to have sex before we get married. I was raised to wait until marriage to have sex. I love him with all my heart, but I don’t want to go against my parents and sleep with him. He says it’s either sex or nothing at all.

– Helpless

You do have a dilemma, and sex isn’t it. You’re asking me whether to follow your boyfriend’s new orders or to keep following your parents’ old ones. Wow. The only orders you should ever heed on personal matters are the ones that come straight from your own mind.

If you’re old enough to get married, you’re old enough to know: What do you want? What do you value? What do you think is right?

Read more:

And if you don’t know the answers, then don’t get married yet, to anyone – not even to someone who conveniently agrees with your parents. Then all you get is a new parent, and still no mind of your own.

Figure this stuff out before you make any irreversible decisions. Take the next decade or two, if you need it. I’m serious. The test isn’t timed and the only wrong answers are the ones you don’t bother to find.

Then, once you have those answers, ask yourself how you feel about his ultimatum.

Don’t get me wrong. He is absolutely entitled to decide he won’t marry someone he has never slept with.

And you, likewise, are absolutely entitled to decide your values are more important to you than he is.

No one is too good to lose, except you.

Dear Carolyn: About four months ago my wife started becoming friends with a man she works with. He’s a health nut and she wanted to lose some weight. This led them to become fast friends. My wife has always been very open about their friendship, telling me whenever they do something, and always makes sure I don’t mind – which for the most part I don’t.

My problem is that now I feel like all the things I used to give her emotionally (a shoulder to cry on, someone to gossip with, etc.) she now gets from him. I feel that if I say something she might break off her friendship and resent me later. I want my wife to have a life outside of our marriage. How can I talk to her and not make her think I want to control her life.

– Confused in New Hampshire

You miss her. Say so. You’re happy she has a friend, but you miss her.

It’s neither controlling nor possessive. Nor unfair, paranoid, jealous or scared. It’s what a husband should feel when his wife isn’t around as much. (Imagine if you felt relief.) If she doesn’t miss you, then best to find out now.

If she offers to end the friendship, though, refuse; just ask for more time with her. Then make some. Make dinner reservations, buy show tickets, hold hands. Renew YOUR friendship.

Abby: Pair fights to repair marriage after infidelity

Dear Abby, Jeanne Phillips Published 6:15 p.m. ET Aug. 28, 2018

Dear Abby: My husband and I have been married 23 years. A month ago, he slept with my daughter’s best friend.

As soon as it happened, he told me what he’d done. He said he felt like I didn’t love him anymore and admitted he made a mistake. I can tell he truly feels ashamed. Nonetheless I am hurting, confused, angry, and I can’t stop having visions of the two of them together.

We are trying to make our marriage work. I love him, and I can’t picture my life without him, but I can’t stop torturing myself. I have to let this go if our marriage is going to work. Do you have any suggestions to help me with this?

Torturing Myself in Alabama

Dear Torturing Yourself: Yes, I do have one. But before I offer it, let me point out that all of the emotions you are feeling are normal under the circumstances. Because you want to make your marriage work, with the help of a licensed marriage and family counselor, you and your husband should analyze what led to his infidelity. Your doctor should be able to refer you at the same time he or she gives you both the results of your STD examinations.

Dear Abby: I have been overweight more than half my life. I have tried many diets and exercise plans, and invariably I gain the pounds back. I’m planning to have gastric sleeve surgery as soon as my surgeon can fit me into his schedule.

Although I have gone through all of the required office visits with my primary care provider, I haven’t made a final decision because I’m nervous about it. No one in my family knows except my husband. My parents are elderly and probably would hate it and worry about me, so I don’t want them to know. As for my children, I know they won’t like it, but I don’t mind their knowing. I will (hopefully) lose 60 to 70 pounds.

Should I tell them in advance or wait until it becomes obvious? I’m a private person and don’t want anyone outside my immediate family knowing about this. I certainly don’t want any negative or snarky remarks from neighbors or my church family.

Am I being ridiculous, selfish or silly? If I don’t disclose, how will I explain how I lost the weight if someone asks without spilling my secret?

Dear Ready: A way to do that would be to reply, “I have made the decision not to discuss my weight anymore. Please respect that.”
